As of 6th April 2016 it is compulsory for owners to ensure their dog is microchipped. As it is a legal requirement and a rule of the Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme all puppies/dogs attending classes will be scanned and no dog will be allowed to take part in any of the tests unless they are microchipped.

DOG IDENTIFICATION

Dogs by law must wear an ID tag on their collar with the surname and full address of the owner. Although it is not a legal requirement we advise you also put phone numbers for easier contact should your pet go missing.

As it is a legal requirement and  a  rule of the Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme ID tags will be checked in class as no puppies/dogs will be allowed to take part in any of the tests unless they have the right identification attached to the dog’s collar.

YELLOW DOG

Below is a link for Yellow Dog. We feel this is a good thing as it makes us aware that some dogs for various reasons need a little extra space.  Please make sure that dogs in class wearing yellow (ribbons, collars, leads) are given the space as requested by the yellow attire.
